I traveled to Stockholm one month ago. It was a birthday present from my boyfriend since I have never been there before... and he is a Swede so we "had to do it" :)
Anyway, while walking through the city centrum I saw a commercial for the latest exhibition at the Architecture Museum: The fashion world of Jean Paul Gaultier.
That was something I couldn't miss.
Tickets were around $25, but it was worth it.
Jean Paul Gaultier is one of the leading haute couture fashion designers around the world. His work is unconventional, provocative and really sexy. He never received any formal training as a designer, but I would say that his talent is enormous.
"The fashion world of Jean Paul Gaultier" shows some of his most exciting designs from 1980s until late today. The exhibition consists of over 100 clothing pieces, and it is a real treat for everybody in love in fashion, but also for those who are just a bit curious (my boyfriend managed to stay with me for two whole hours without complying to much :) ).
The exhibition has been on for quite some time now, so if it comes to your city: DON¨T MISS IT :)
Here are some pics. Hope you will enjoy it.
