SAG Award Gowns 2013

Why do I like SAG (Screen Actors Guild Award) Award? It is not always about the nominations and winners, although I was happy when I saw Jennifer Lawrence and Ben Afleck winnig last night, and a bit sad because Helen Hunt lost to Anne Hataway in their best supporting role competition. No, I love SAG Award event because everybody will try to give their best not just on the screen, but also on the red carpet.

And SAG Award red carpets are always enjoyable to watch.

Best looking ladies:

First there will be my personal favourites,  looks which were adorable, sexy, elegant and a bit different then others.

These four looks were amazing. I love Jessica Chastain's hair and how attractive she looked in this daring McQeen gown. Nicole Kidman was elegant as usuall, but this time her dress looked like it was created just for her. Although I would like to see less botox on her face she is still really beautiful.

Marion Cotillard has sense of fashion and she is not affraid to take risk on the red carpet. That is why I always look forward to see how will she look. Dior was not a surprise considering the fact she is company's promoter. Here her haircut is really cute and simple and appropriate with the dress.

Finally, I hope that Jennifer Lawrence will continue to wear Dior this award seasion, becuse she is on fire. This is her second consecutive Dior look, and I have feeling that she couldn't look any better than this.

Elegant and eye-catching

Naomy Watts looked sensational last night with a silver matching clutch, while Viola Davis was on the people not to miss in her beautifull turquoise gown. Nina Dobrev looked perfect in the latest Elie Saab dress, while Amanda Seyfried and Jane Krakowski had one of their best red carpets ever.

The look I found absolutely irresistible was Giuliana Rancic's blue dress, plus lovely purple dress worn by Sally Field:

Meeh, I expected more

Some of the looks were also a bit disappointing. Julianna Margulies, who this year only wears black, looked not so sophisticated in her black-white Chado Ralph Rucci gown, but her hair and makeup were stunning. On the other side, Kaley Cuoco could easily be the most gorgeous creature last night if it was not for hair. The hair was technicaly  perfect but it just not the right form for Kaley's face shape. Nevetheless, the biggest dissapointments were Claire Danes with her dark lipsitck and not so flattering Givenchy look and Anne Hataway who just didn't make an impression.

Modern ladies from Modern family

As much as I admired Sofia Vergara and her angel white look, that much I didn't like to see Julie Bowen in that black Johanna Johnson dress. She should learn from her "daughters" Sarah Hyland and Ariel Winter. They both looked really nice on the red carpet.

Life is beautfull- moment

Two SAG Award looks made me think of spring, love, happiness and how wonderful life is. Those were Julianne Moore in an extraordinary beautiful Chanel design and young Kiernan Shipka in Oscar de la Renta. Both dresses had white as a dominant color.

Bright and shiny

Jennifer Garner and Helen Hunt were literary glittering, but they manged to look decent and elegant.
